SEP 2016: I would like to switch gears a little this month and talk about planning and preparation for the funeral of Officer Michael L. Krol. The whole escort, receiving the body from the airport, escorting body to the funeral home, the church and finally to the cemetery was huge detail as it related to safety on the motorcycle.

Officer Michael Krol’s death was a high profile event that captured the attention of the nation. Officer Krol is originally from Michigan and he once worked for the Wayne County Sheriff’s Office as I. The escorting responsibility landed in my lap and I was ready, willing and able to put all of my years of motorcycle escorting experience and training to the test to make the transportation of our Fallen Brother and his family a safe and successful transition.
