Place: Riverside Park, Berlin, WI
Cost: $50.00 at this late date
Riverside Park is located along the Fox River, in the north
central portion of the city.
There are some electrical hook up sights available, and plenty of
space for tents.
Camp area available anytime Friday after 12 Noon
Registration runs 4:00pm-5:30pm

2009 Purple Heart Charity Ride
Please join us
for our fifth annual motorcycle ride, to demonstrate our support for
the members of the Armed Forces who have
valiantly served our
Country, and been wounded. These brave Americans need our support
with their recovery. This “Police escorted” ride, begins in
Sykesville, Maryland and proceeds to Walter Reed Army Regional
Medical Center in Washington, DC.
REGISTRATION:
A
donation in the amount of $25 (more, if your heart dictates) per
bike, will be collected the morning of the ride.
Registration will begin at 7:00 am and continue until 10:00 am,
at which time the ride begins.
You MUST register to participate in this ride.
LOCATION:
The FREEDOM PARK, Raincliffe Rd., Sykesville, Maryland.
Directions:
From
Rt. 32, head north into Carroll County. At the first traffic light,
Raincliffe Rd., make a right turn.
Proceed approx. ¼ mile to the
park on your right. From the intersection of Liberty Rd. and Rt. 32,
head south on Rt. 32 to the light at Raincliffe Rd.
Make a left at
that light and proceed to the park on your right.

Ontario Police Badge Ride 2009
The 6th Annual Ontario Police "Badge Ride" is gearing
up to provide to provide a great day of riding
on some of the most picturesque roads southern Ontario has to offer
Registration: Law Enforcement/EMS
Registration to the Ontario Police "Badge Ride" is open to all
law enforcement, fire, corrections and emergency workers.
Registration fee is
$50.00 for riders and $30.00 for
passengers,
payable by CHEQUE/CASH upon check-in on Sunday July 5th 2009.
This year's ride is in support of two causes.
The first is the Simcoe-Muskoka Regional Cancer Centre
to be built at the
Royal Victoria Hospital site in Barrie Ontario.
This will allow patients who live well north of the GTA to receive
their medical treatment
with much less disruption to their lives due
to long drives back and forth to Toronto.
The second cause
is "Deeds and Dreams", a local Greater Toronto Area
children's wish organization
endorsed and sponsored by the Toronto
Police Service

6th Annual Blue Ride for Charity
Proceeds from
the run will be divided between the two organizations, and used
to support area charities.
The ride will be held on Sunday July 26, 2009, Rain or Shine.
Registration
will be at North Strabane Twp. Volunteer Fire Department on Rt19
Canonsburg PA
from 9am to 11 am, and we will depart promptly at 11:30.
The cost for the ride is $20.00 single, and $30.00 double.
Pre-Registration preferred by July 20, 2009.
Pre-Registered riders will receive a free year bar, otherwise
they will be $5.00 on the day of the ride.

Cross Canada MP Ride

The Military Police are organizing a cross
Canada motorcycle relay run to raise money for the Military
Police Children's Blind Fund and Support the Troops. They plan
on departing from St. John's, NF on August 15 and arriving in Comox, BC on August 31st. This event is open to all law
enforcement personnel and we are hoping that Blue Knights
will join us and help make this event a success. I think NS1 is
going to help with the east coast leg of the ride. For more

check out the "Military Police National Motorcycle Relay Run"
(group).
The Relay Ride is open to
all Police Agencies (Federal, Provincial & Municipal
police forces in Canada) and their affiliates and associated
members, I.E. Blue Knights, Golden Helmets, etc. Entry will
be $50.00 per person and $25.00 per passenger or you can ride
free if you raise $150.00 in pledges. You can download the
Pledge Sheet which can be found under the Links & Registration
tab on their web site. When registered you will be provided with
the corresponding OPI of that province all questions, concerns
can be forwarded to them. As well if you feel this is something
that you would like to get involved with that as well can be
done thru your Prov OPI.

2009 Ride for Hero's
Corporal Matthew Dinning Memorial “Ride for Heroes” Day, honouring
the late Corporal Matthew Dinning,
a Military Policeman who lost his life serving his country in Afghanistan
in 2006, is being established
to start a Scholarship Fund at the F.E. Madill Secondary School in
his hometown of Wingham, Ontario.
There are two starting points:
Motorcycles - The “Ride For Heroes” Route starts from ASU London, 701
Oxford
Street Entrance, London, Ont.
Highway 4 to
Highway 23 then to Highway 86 into Wingham, ON.
Automobiles - The “Ride For Heroes” Route starts from ASU London,
Elisabeth Street Entrance, London, Ont.
